| Abstract: | We present a draft for public comment of a new legal framework supporting the future of biotechnology. The framework, named here as the BioBrick Public Agreement, is based upon the contribution of promises not to assert any property rights against users of so-contributed standard biological parts. Comments and feedback on this working draft are requested. |
