Title: Lisp: A Language for Stratified Design
Author: Abelson, Harold; Sussman, Gerald Jay
Issue Date: 1987-08-01

The examples are chosen to highlight the importance of abstraction in program design and to draw attention to the use of procedures to express abstractions.
