Abstract
Introduction to FY26-FY26 brought a mix of challenges and rewards to MIT Health. Our department worked to maintain stability and consistency for our community by making choices that protect the quality of our services while sensibly using resources and funds. We forged partnerships with specialty providers that bring breadth and value to our patients, and we developed programming that both serves the entire community and connects to MIT's educational mission. Most notably, we built on last year's technological initiatives, expanding our use of feedback tools and embarking on a pioneering approach to chart review that enhances patient safety and mitigates risk. About MIT Health MIT Health is a multispecialty group practice and health resource serving the MIT and Lincoln Laboratory communities. Every day, without exception, we support the physical and mental health needs of our students, faculty, staff, retirees, and their families. At MIT Health, nearly 250 professionals provide clinical care, public health resources, occupational health services, student insurance offerings, and community support. MIT is unlike any other academic institution in the world-and MIT Health is highly attuned to the needs of our unique community. Our guiding principle is to remain true to the intellectual and creative excellence that defines MIT. At MIT Health, we approach everything we do with compassion and a sincere desire to be of service to the MIT community. It is a mindset that we call "Infinite Caring." Key Update: Enhancing patient and employee experience with new tools and technologies In FY26, MIT Health built on the success of last year's patient survey launch by implementing tools that help us gather information, monitor performance, and communicate more effectively.
