Abstract
This presentation is an overview of ECCO version 4 that was given at the 2016 ECCO meeting (MIT; May 16-18, 2016). It reviews the ECCO v4 components and online locations (ECCO v4 release 2 directories, analysis software, model setup, global grids, and documentations). It then illustrates budget analyses, model-data comparisons, and model sensitivity experiments (forward and adjoint) that are readily enabled by ECCO v4 r2 (available online).
