Abstract
Given a non-degenerate smooth curve 𝛾 : [0, 1] → R³, its tangent directions form a one-dimensional family of lines and its normal directions form a one-dimensional family of planes. In this thesis, I study the orthogonal projections of any set 𝐴 ⊂ R³ onto these restricted family of lines or planes.
