Abstract
In this issue, at the beginning of each section of the report, we present, as we did a year ago, a statement of the broad aims of the research projects whose individual lines of study are being reported in detail. We hope that this definition of the research objectives of each group will be of help to the reader in integrating the reports of ensuing quarters. This report, the thirty-sixth in a series of quarterly progress reports issued by the Research Laboratory of Electronics, contains a review of the research activities of the Laboratory for the three month period ending November 30, 1954. Since this is a preliminary report no results should be considered final.
