Abstract
The Technology Licensing Office (TLO) continues to play a pivotal role within MIT's vibrant innovation ecosystem, upholding the Institute's core values of discovery, exploration, invention, and impactful creation. The TLO is entrusted with protecting and commercializing the technologies and innovations emerging from the pioneering research conducted across MIT's labs, centers, and through the middle of FY2026, Lincoln Laboratory (LL). This annual report celebrates another year of achievements while acknowledging the challenging environment facing academic research as well as early-stage investment for small companies. Above all, it recognizes the ingenuity of MIT researchers, the dedication of our licensees and corporate partners, and the tireless efforts of the TLO and the broader innovation ecosystem. Every invention disclosed, patent filed, and license executed marks a vital step in translating groundbreaking research from the laboratory to the marketplace, ultimately creating tangible benefits for humanity. Our work is more than just commercialization; it is the essence of public service, transforming theoretical possibilities into realworld impact in areas such as health, sustainability, manufacturing, and technology, both in Cambridge and around the world.
