The Tangible Map is a unique exhibit created by the MIT Mobile Experience lab located in the Atlas Welcome Service Center created to display dynamic data, like shuttle status and event information, collected across the campus of MIT in an interactive manner. Now, in the final stage of implementation, extensive research on the user interface demonstrated it was lacking in features to provide a rich and engaging experience with the Tangible Map. In this study, I explore how an updated user interface improves the user's interactions when accessing live data, as well as provides a rich experience of enhanced map functionalities. Additionally, I further discuss the establishment and implementation of a new user interface that provides this updated experience.en_US
