Abstract
The current macroeconomic context is distinguished by an upsurge in private credit lending activities. This thesis delves into the realm of the real estate debt market, primarily within the United States, aiming to identify principal participants and ascertain the alignment of investment strategies. It also scrutinizes how investors are managing and exploiting opportunities during this phase of uncertainty and challenging market conditions. The ultimate goal is to gain insights into the state of the real estate market during this specific time period and understand the thought processes of investors. It will offer them a perspective on the fundamental reasoning behind real estate debt investment, elucidating why at this juncture, it has become a focal point of discussion in the real estate sector and why debt has garnered such significant attention.
