This thesis explores a random access service for satellites with the possibility of unintentional or intentional interference. Previous work does not address large bandwidth-delay product systems and interference. This thesis combines the challenges of each, developing a methodology for modeling and stabilizing the random access protocol, accommodating long delays, and mitigating interference.
