| dc.description.abstract | This thesis examines how strategic transformation approaches reshape the resilience of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry in the light of ongoing technological disruption, climate change, and regulatory pressures. Through empirical analysis of 9 insurers, the study reveals that while all transformation types improve performance, phased 'test-refine-execute' strategies achieve superior outcomes by combining operational focus with strategic agility. The research identifies four implementation levers: (i) digital modernization, (ii) phased transformation execution, (iii) resource-allocation agility, and (iv) aligned leadership - which together explain why some transformations succeed where others fail." | |
