The thesis presents a set of simulations of models and algorithms for wireless communication systems. The simulations are developed using graphical MATLAB interfaces, and cover the fundamentals of wireless channel modeling, the advantages and limitations of antenna beamforming in multiuser systems, and the underlying principles of OFDM. The thesis targets two types of audiences in particular: students and wireless industry professionals. For the former, it constitutes an excellent complement to lecture notes, and for the latter, it is an efficient way to review the key principles and technologies. In either case, the simulations provide an intuitive view of the addressed topics, thus allowing users to comprehend the basics of wireless channels and phenomena without delving into mathematical complexities.en_US
