dc.description.abstractThe goal of the project is to explore how activity-based interfaces can create more meaningful experiences for the users and builders of online social networking sites. Medina, a social-networking site based on the idea of exchanging knowledge, explores new interfaces for visualizing connections between people and ideas. The site constantly measures interactions between people and their interests in order to create a more accurate picture of what relationships and information are important.en_US
