In todays society we are in a continuous state of distraction. Our cell phones and MP3 players provide us with a steady stream of information and imagery to deter our mind fro the disruption of advertisements and solicitations surrounding us.This thesis explores the relationship between media and architecture. Specifically, how the moving image and the experience of moving through built space can direct, distract and alter perception. Interaction between the public and the displayed media create an environment that is both social and engaging. this relationship is considered within a mobile media park sited inside the Los Angles river channel in downtown LA.en_US
