| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, we look at some of the first topological results for Lagrangian immersions and embeddings. In particular, we state and consider some applications of the h-principle of Gromov which gives a homotopy classification of Lagrangian immersions. We outline a proof of Matsushima's theorem which states that there is no Lagrangian embedding ...
