dc.description.abstract | This paper details the analysis carried out in Solidworks to determine the best material and configuration of a thermal-storage solar cooker module. The thermal-storage solar cooker utilizes the high-latent-heat lithium nitrate releases when transitioning from liquid to solid state. However, before this process can transpire the salt has to be completely melted and the energy needed for the melting process is provided by the sun.The purpose of the module is to conduct the solar power from the heat source to the salt.In addition after the melting process,it conducts the latent energy released by the salt to the hot plate used for cooking. | en_US |
