The MIT Libraries is completing a major upgrade to DSpace@MIT.
Starting May 5 2026, DSpace will remain functional, viewable, searchable, and downloadable, however, you will not be able to edit existing collections or add new material.
We are aiming to have full functionality restored by May 18, 2026, but intermittent service interruptions may occur.
Please email dspace-lib@mit.edu with any questions.
Thank you for your patience as we implement this important upgrade.

Comment on 'Evolution Equationsof Nonlinearly Permissible, Coherent Hole Structures Propagating Persistently in Collisionless Plasmas'
(Wiley, 2023-08)Recent critical remarks, published in ``Annalen der Physik'', about the present author's analysis of electron and ion holes and their stability are addressed and shown to be misunderstandings and misrepresentations -
Reflection and transmission of electromagnetic pulses at a planar dielectric interface -- theory and quantum lattice simulations
(AIP, 2021-08)There is considerable interest in the application of quantum information science to advance computations in plasma physics. A particular point of curiosity is whether it is possible to take advantage of quantum computers ... -
Intrinsic fluence non-uniformity in D3He backlit proton radiography
(AIP, 2024-04)Proton radiography is an essential diagnostic for studying magnetic fields in high energy density physics experiments. Protons are born in a fusion implosion, traverse the plasma, and are detected on CR-39 solid state ...
