The second treatment option is to remove soft tissue near and around the spinal cord intended to reduce pressure on the spinal cord and allow the spinal cord to heal on its own. InVivo Therapeutics Corporation is a startup founded to commercialize novel science and technology that was developed through a collaborative effort between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Langer labs, and the department of Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School.
