Character merchandising is not often a topic discussed in design curriculum, though it is a popular strategy for marketing and selling consumer products. This case study documents the design and development of a product, including its features and the process of design and fabrication. This thesis will also document the evaluation of the suitcase as a product, both functionally and aesthetically.
