There will be two in-class, two hour exams. There is no final exam for this class. The in-class exams are scheduled as follows:
Homework will be assigned every week and collected the following week. No late homework will be accepted, unless for very solid reasons. The problems will be chosen from the textbooks. A few times during the semester, larger projects will be assigned, and they will be due two weeks after the assigned date. Homework will count 50 percent towards your final grade.
Each in-class exam represents 25 percent of the final grade, and the homework 50 percent.
