Course Structure
This course is taught in two six-week components. The first component, thermodynamics, includes laws of thermodynamics, solution theory and equilibrium diagrams. The second component, kinetics, includes diffusion, phase transformations, and the development of microstructure.
NOTE: This OCW site only includes the kinetics component. The thermodynamics component has not yet been incorporated into OCW.
