Projects

Final projects account for 40% of the overall course grade.

Presentation

Final project presentations will take place on the last two days of class.

Presentation Guidelines

Presentations are allocated 10 minutes each: 8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes for questions. This amounts to 5 slides maximum (plus title slide), with the following outline:

Title

Your name, name of the adivsor and title of the project.

Introduction

Objective, motivations and challenges of the project.

Background

What was the state of the art before your project and how it compares to your contribution.

Methods

What was the method followed by your project and why.

Results

What are the results of your project.

Discussion

What are the implications of your work and where would you go from here.

Final Paper
