Paper Honeycomb technology was invented as another means of constructing lightweight, durable, and affordable products that could serve both home and industry. Since the technology became popular after appearing in its first market, it has taken on one market after another, even while identifying more opportunities to adapt this technology for other uses. To date, there are applications in packaging, construction, marketing promotions, cars, aircrafts, and lately, in furniture. This thesis focuses specifically on new market opportunities for the paper honeycomb technology, especially its use in furniture. I test different hypotheses on both the demand side and the supply side of the market. Then I identify attractive new markets by evaluating several marketing strategies in a value framework of create-capture-deliver.en_US
