dc.description.abstract | MIT's 2N program produces naval engineers for the U.S. Navy. It provides its students with a solid foundation of critical engineering, design, construction, and naval architecture concepts. However, within that curriculum, there is less of an emphasis on electrical engineering and electronics as it applies to shipboard systems. The purpose of this project is to outline a new course of study centered around laboratory assignments designed especially for the 2N program that will provide an accelerated introduction to electronics and electrical engineering for the naval engineer. | en_US |
