In the last 15 years, several high tech companies successfully developed revolutionary products that were not based on completely new base technology. Instead, the companies used existing technologies to create products with attractive user experiences. The products appealed to customers and made their manufacturers leaders in their corresponding market segments. The approach to innovation taken by these companies could be called the "radical innovation of user experience." In this work, I will look for common patterns in customer research, product development, and the organizational management of successful user-experience innovation companies. As a result, I will create an asset of recommendations that could be used by product managers and general managers of technology companies to assess their innovation strategy.en_US
