This thesis explores and analyzes two different options for on-chip sensing and regulating current for a buck LED driver, as compared to a common external solution. With the rise of LED use in common lighting applications, it becomes increasingly necessary to develop solutions that are simple to use and accurate. In this paper, much of the focus is on reducing the external pin and component count while maintaining output current accuracy and power efficiency.en_US
