Abstract
The MIT Department of Mechanical Engineering (MechE) advances the fundamentals, design, and realization of physical systems with mechanical principles at their core. Our research and education programs embody MIT's motto, mens et manus ("mind and hand"), and foster an inclusive and productive community. We appreciate the opportunity to provide this annual update.
