Abstract
For two decades, the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI) has engaged faculty, researchers, and students from across MIT to address contemporary energy challenges. As MIT's hub for multidisciplinary energy research, education, and outreach, MITEI is the leading campus unit focused on energy supply, demand, access, and security, and on decarbonization of technology (e.g., data centers), industry, buildings, and transportation. The ultimate goal of our work is building sustainable global energy systems that can contribute to mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
