Abstract
Construction productivity has been stagnant for decades, with industry fragmentation and historically limited technology investment among several contributing factors. Amid soaring demand and cost pressures, rapid improvements in artificial intelligence started to reshape the industry by improving how projects are designed, approved, procured, planned, manufactured, and delivered. This white paper identifies six major categories ofAI-enabled value levers: Design Automation, Offsite Manufacturing /OSM, Permitting, Scheduling, Skilled Labor & Subcontracting, Supply Chain and, Procurement and evaluates how they may reduce cost, compress schedules, and improve project delivery.
