dc.description.abstractTables are presented for the solution of the transient onedimensional heat flow in a solid body of constant material properties with the heating rate at one boundary dependent on time. These tables allow convenient and rapid estimation of the temperature distribution in the many practical cases where the mathematical model applies. Examples illustrating use of the tables are given.en_US
