The 20.020 assessment study focused on the freshman student experience of the spring, 2012 and 2013 classes which included interviews and a survey administered at the end of the semester. Seven students from each cohort participated in the interviews that were conversational, informal, and ranged in length between 20 to 30 minutes. By means of several general open-ended questions the interviews explored the 20.020 learning experience, its impact, and students view of the experience. The interviews were audio taped, transcriptions were made of each session, and a content analysis performed on the responses.en_US
