Labs

Laboratory sessions will be held essentially every week. There are two laboratory sections, each consisting of a two hour session. Students will enter their choice of lab section on a sign-up sheet on the first day of class. After assignments are made, changes can be made by contacting the TA. The TA will be available for help and lab check-off during each session.

You are welcome and encouraged to discuss the laboratory assignments with your student colleagues, the TA, the recitation instructor, or the lecturers. However, the execution and write-up of your lab must be done on your own.

The labs are tentatively scheduled as follows:

Topics
Lab Equipment and Resistor Networks (PDF)
Passive linear networks (PDF)
Transistors and Diodes (PDF)
Operational Amplifiers and ICS (PDF)

For lab 4, you will also need the ICL7129 spec sheet: Maxim ICL7129/MAX7129. The spec sheet for the equivalent Microchip TC7129 may also be of use.
