Abstract
Despite being constitutively localized to centromeres, the DNA proximal components of the kinetochore undergo substantial remodeling throughout the cell cycle. We highlight the role of cell cycle-dependent phosphorylation in regulating the interactions and localization of the CENP-LN complex.
