Abstract
This study briefly reviews the model that describes platelet behavior resulting in aggregation and thrombus formation. This is followed by an overview of the basics of the dissipative particle dynamics (DPD), the simulation method adopted here. Details of the numerical simulations is then described and results of these simulations are presented.
