© 2019 Elsevier Inc. Sangaré et al. use a CRISPR screen to determine the in vivo fitness of Toxoplasma genes. They identify a secreted protein, TgWIP, which determines dendritic cell motility and transmigration in the infected host. In mice, TgWIP determines T. gondii dissemination from the site of infection to distant organs.
